The records below describe retained source material; a new cover or copyright revision does not refresh the terrain, imagery or course geometry. Source capture dates and book production dates are different. Unrecorded retrieval dates remain unrecorded.

Adaptations and limits

Maps use adapted source material: natural boundaries are rounded for display, terrain is interpolated and displayed with modelled contours, height colours and downhill arrows, and imagery may be cropped or resampled. Display detail does not establish measurement accuracy. Current tee markers, pins, green speed and unmapped conditions must be checked on site. These are practice references, not field-verified putting surveys.

Green editions do not display an aerial-photo background, but source imagery may form part of the retained geometry/context workflow. The full project provider record is retained above. A source appearing in a combined project record does not mean every product displays every source layer.

Preserving source history

Keep these version-specific anchors when adding new editions. Earlier records are not silently overwritten with a new acquisition date. If a supplier moves a source page, retain its original identifier and record the replacement link. Source concerns: xyard.uk@gmail.com.
